Leonard Williams to Sign Three-Year Extension with Seahawks
Leonard Williams, a defensive tackle for the Seattle Seahawks, is anticipated to sign a three-year contract extension, as reported by a team source. The deal is not yet official.
Williams, who will turn 32 in June, was approaching the last year of a previous three-year, $64.5 million contract signed in March 2024. Discussions regarding a new contract had taken place a month prior, with Williams emphasizing the importance of focusing on his performance rather than contract negotiations.
Since joining the Seahawks from the New York Giants in October 2023, Williams has experienced a successful period, recording 11 sacks and 28 quarterback hits in 2024, followed by a second-team All-Pro selection in 2025. This extension follows similar agreements made by the Seahawks with wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba and cornerback Devon Witherspoon earlier this offseason.
