He cited his fight with Evloev, noting that the first round was particularly uneventful, leading to a debate over scoring. Despite a point deduction against Evloev, the judges awarded him the round on two of three scorecards.

Evloev is set to challenge Alexander Volkanovski for the UFC featherweight championship at UFC 333. Meanwhile, Murphy has not competed since his loss but continues to advocate for changes in scoring protocols for closely contested fights.
