Levon Aronian Discusses Upcoming Clash Between Sindarov and Gukesh

Javokhir Sindarov, a contender for the World Chess Championship, is currently focused on upcoming events rather than his match against Dommaraju Gukesh. Sindarov earned his title shot by winning the Cyprus Candidates earlier this year and will face Gukesh in a series of 14 classical games from November 22 to December 13.

Before preparing for the championship, Sindarov will participate in the Global Chess League and the Olympiad in Samarkand. Gukesh, who became the youngest world champion at 18, is also set to compete in the Olympiad but is skipping other tournaments to concentrate on the championship match.

Levon Aronian, an American Grandmaster, believes that the match will depend significantly on the players' mental states. He noted that Gukesh has faced challenges but expects him to be competitive. Aronian compared Gukesh's early championship experience to that of Mikhail Tal, who also became a champion at a young age. He anticipates a strategic and engaging match between the two young players.
