Lewis Hamilton Considers Racing into the 2030s
Lewis Hamilton has indicated that he may continue racing into the 2030s, maintaining his passion for Formula 1 at the age of 41. He expressed this sentiment while in Mexico City, where he also highlighted a personal motivation for a future race in Rwanda, a location he has long wished to see included in the Formula 1 calendar.
Hamilton, who will turn 42 in January, mentioned that he would be 45 at the start of the 2030 season. He challenged the notion that age affects performance, stating he feels capable and committed for the foreseeable future. However, he refrained from making a definitive commitment to race for another four years, emphasizing that his continuation depends on his performance levels.
Currently, Hamilton's focus is on enhancing Ferrari's competitiveness for the next season. He described the upcoming races as preparation for this goal, aiming to help Ferrari secure second place in the Constructors' Championship while improving their overall performance and strategies for the future.
