Lewis Hamilton Critiques Ferrari's Qualifying Performance at Monza

Lewis Hamilton has voiced his disappointment regarding Ferrari's performance during the qualifying session at the Italian Grand Prix in Monza, where he finished fifth.

In the qualifying rounds, Hamilton was eighth in Q1 and narrowly advanced from Q2 by just 0.001 seconds. He ended Q3 0.225 seconds behind pole-sitter Pierre Gasly. Hamilton had the option to run ahead of or behind teammate Charles Leclerc but chose to go second to take advantage of Leclerc's tow. However, he missed the slipstream on his first Q3 run due to delays in tire preparation and was slower than Leclerc on his second attempt.

Despite the challenges, Hamilton acknowledged the teamwork displayed by Ferrari, noting that they seemed to collaborate effectively. The Ferraris secured the second row for the race following a grid penalty for Oscar Piastri. Hamilton remains realistic about his chances for victory, recognizing that his team is still struggling on straightaways and expressing uncertainty about his title prospects as the season progresses.
