Lewis Hamilton Introduces New Puppy Halo on Social Media

Lewis Hamilton has recently posted the first images and videos of his new puppy, Halo, a golden retriever, while enjoying his Formula 1 summer break.

The seven-time Formula 1 champion welcomed Halo after a successful start to the 2026 season, where he achieved his first grand prix victory with Ferrari and several podium finishes. The puppy was acquired from Goldiva Goldens, a breeder in the United States, who confirmed the handover on social media.

Animal trainer Kirstin McMillian, who has previously worked with Hamilton's late bulldog Roscoe, facilitated the puppy's transition to Hamilton in Los Angeles. Although it is unclear if Halo will accompany Hamilton to race weekends, she could potentially join his teammate Charles Leclerc's dog, Leo. Hamilton's recent social media post featuring Halo has garnered significant attention, receiving 1.7 million likes on Instagram.
