Liam Lawson Finds Comfort in RB22 During Dutch GP

Liam Lawson, the Red Bull stand-in driver, reported feeling more at ease with the RB22 during the recent Dutch Grand Prix than he did during his earlier races with the team in 2025. Lawson replaced the injured Isack Hadjar for this event, marking his return to Red Bull Racing after being dropped following just two races earlier in the season.

In Zandvoort, Lawson secured his best result with Red Bull, finishing seventh. He noted that he adapted to the RB22 more quickly than he did to the previous car, the RB21, which he found challenging to evaluate due to his lack of experience on the tracks he raced.

Lawson highlighted the significant aerodynamic differences between the RB22 and the VCARB 03, emphasizing that personal driver comfort adjustments can be difficult to implement when switching cars. The team has not announced when Hadjar will return from his wrist injury, which he sustained during training.
