Lions Add Linebacker Joe Bachie to Active Roster
The Detroit Lions have announced the signing of linebacker Joe Bachie from their practice squad to fill an active roster position.
Bachie had previously spent the offseason and preseason with the Lions but did not make the initial 53-man roster. Last season, he began with the Colts, starting five games before being placed on injured reserve. After his release, he joined the Titans and participated in 10 games on special teams, accumulating 29 tackles. Over his career, he has recorded a total of 48 tackles in 51 games with the Bengals and Eagles.
Following the addition of Bachie, the Lions still have one open spot on their 53-man roster after waiving center Seth McLaughlin and running back Jabari Small, both of whom were signed to the practice squad on Monday.
