Lions CB Ennis Rakestraw's Ankle Injury Not Serious

The team's radio announcer, Dan Miller, noted that Rakestraw's ankle injury is minor, allowing for the possibility of his participation in the upcoming preseason game against the Commanders on Saturday.

This injury is particularly fortunate for Rakestraw, who has struggled with injuries over the past two years, playing only eight games. Upon recovery, he will compete for a position in a cornerback lineup that includes Rock Ya-Sin, D.J. Reed, Roger McCreary, Khalil Dorsey, and fifth-round draft pick Keith Abney.
