Lions Conduct Workout with Free Agent Trevon Diggs

The Detroit Lions recently conducted a workout for cornerback Trevon Diggs, who is currently a free agent, as noted in the NFL's personnel report.

Diggs, 27, was released by the Green Bay Packers on January 20 after participating in only two games and logging 34 snaps. He had been claimed off waivers from the Dallas Cowboys on December 31.

Once a standout player, Diggs led the NFL with 11 interceptions in 2021 but has faced significant challenges since suffering knee injuries in 2023. He tore his ACL in September 2023 and underwent further knee surgery in December 2024. In January 2025, he had additional surgery to address ongoing cartilage damage. Over the last three seasons, he has played in just 22 games.
