Lions Place Isiah Pacheco on Injured Reserve
The Detroit Lions have officially placed running back Isiah Pacheco on injured reserve, confirming his absence for at least four games. This decision comes after head coach Dan Campbell previously stated he could not provide a definitive update on Pacheco's status for Week 1.
Pacheco has been dealing with a sprained MCL, but Campbell noted that a back injury is currently the primary concern. With Pacheco sidelined, Jacob Saylors is expected to step in as the No. 2 running back behind Jahmyr Gibbs for the opening month of the season.
To fill the vacant roster spot, the Lions signed tight end Tyler Conklin, who was released just days prior. Additionally, guard Elijah Klein and wide receiver Dominic Lovett have been added to the practice squad.
