Lisandro Martinez Critiques Manchester United's Hierarchy After Champions League Defeat

Following Manchester United's 2-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League, defender Lisandro Martinez expressed his frustration with the club's management. In a post-match interview, he highlighted the lack of summer signings and called for more support from the club's hierarchy, specifically mentioning technical director Jason Wilcox.

Martinez noted that he expected greater investment to enhance the team's competitiveness, especially after a successful previous season. He emphasized the need for a stronger squad to handle challenging matches like the one against Atletico.

This loss marked Manchester United's fifth consecutive game without a win, increasing pressure on manager Michael Carrick. While Carrick did not comment directly on Martinez's remarks, he stressed the importance of unity within the team during difficult times.
