Liverpool Agrees to Sign Bradley Barcola from PSG for £120m
Liverpool has reportedly secured an agreement in principle with Paris Saint-Germain for the transfer of forward Bradley Barcola, with the deal estimated at around £120 million.
Over £100 million of the transfer fee is guaranteed, and the two clubs finalized the broad terms of the agreement recently. Liverpool's sporting director Richard Hughes and Fenway Sports Group president Mike Gordon are managing the negotiations, which are now focused on finalizing the details.
Barcola, who has two years left on his contract with PSG, has expressed his desire not to extend his stay with the club. He was omitted from PSG's squad for their recent Ligue 1 match against Rennes. The 23-year-old, primarily a left winger, had a productive season with 49 appearances, scoring 13 goals and providing seven assists, while also playing a significant role for France in the recent World Cup.
