Liverpool Approaches Crystal Palace for Ismaila Sarr Amidst Stalled Transfer Talks

Liverpool has reached out to Crystal Palace regarding a potential transfer for winger Ismaila Sarr, following stalled discussions with Brighton over Yankuba Minteh.

Andoni Iraola's team is exploring options to strengthen their squad after negotiations for Minteh, who is currently injured, have not progressed. Palace, however, has stated that Sarr is not for sale, as he has three years remaining on his contract.

Sarr missed Palace's opening match against Everton due to injury, despite reports suggesting he was refusing to train. Palace manager Pierre Sage confirmed that Sarr is under contract and is focused on recovering from his injury. Liverpool's interest in Sarr comes as they also pursue PSG's Bradley Barcola and face interest in Cody Gakpo from other clubs.
