Liverpool Considers Ismaila Sarr After Failed Minteh Bids
Liverpool is reportedly interested in signing Ismaila Sarr from Crystal Palace following the rejection of two bids for Yankuba Minteh by Brighton. The offers, valued at £50 million and £60 million, were turned down, prompting Liverpool to shift their focus to Sarr, who netted 21 goals last season.
Although Sarr is a right-sided winger with Premier League experience, Crystal Palace is not inclined to sell him this summer. Recently, Galatasaray expressed interest in Sarr. Despite reports of a bid from Liverpool, both clubs have denied any such transaction.
In addition to pursuing Sarr, Liverpool is also in discussions with Paris St-Germain regarding a deal for French winger Bradley Barcola. The club aims to finalize two signings before the transfer deadline on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Crystal Palace manager Pierre Sage expressed hope that Sarr and teammate Jean-Philippe Mateta will remain with the team.
