Liverpool Engages in Positive Talks with PSG for Bradley Barcola Transfer
Liverpool is currently engaged in discussions with Paris Saint-Germain regarding the potential transfer of winger Bradley Barcola. The talks are taking place on Tuesday, and there is a sense of optimism that an agreement can be reached.
Throughout the summer, a valuation gap has existed between the two clubs, with PSG reportedly seeking around £145 million for the France international. Despite this, the discussions have been characterized as positive, aided by strong relations between the clubs.
In addition to Barcola, Liverpool has shown interest in PSG's Ibrahim Mbaye. The Premier League club is focused on strengthening their wide positions, having also made attempts to sign Yankuba Minteh from Brighton, which were rejected. Currently, Liverpool is the sole club pursuing Barcola, who is dissatisfied with his role at PSG as he approaches the final two years of his contract.
