Liverpool Hosts Chelsea in EFL Cup Clash

Liverpool is set to host Chelsea in the last 16 of the EFL Cup at Anfield tonight. The match will kick off at 8pm GMT, with live coverage available on Sky Sports and ITV1 in the UK.

Chelsea's manager, Xabi Alonso, is looking to recover from a disappointing loss to Tottenham, where his team lost 2-0. Alonso has made four changes to his side, bringing in Wesley Fofana, Malo Gusto, Romeo Lavia, and Danny Welbeck, while Cole Palmer is suspended.

On the other hand, Liverpool, under manager Andoni Iraola, has won their last four matches, including a recent victory over Brighton. The team has made several changes as well, with young players like James McConnell and Trey Nyoni included in the starting XI. Liverpool is still missing players Conor Bradley, Jeremie Frimpong, and Hugo Ekitike.
