Liverpool Manager Expresses Full Confidence in Wirtz and Barcola

Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola has stated that he has complete confidence in forwards Bradley Barcola and Florian Wirtz, even though neither player has scored this season. The team recently suffered a defeat against Manchester City and is preparing to face LASK in the Champions League.

Despite Liverpool's significant investment of around £220 million in Wirtz and Barcola, the players have yet to deliver expected results. Wirtz has scored five goals in the Premier League over the past 15 months, while Barcola has not found the net since joining the club.

Iraola acknowledged that both players have experienced ups and downs this season but remains optimistic about their potential contributions. He also confirmed that injured players Alexander Isak, Cody Gakpo, and Dominik Szoboszlai are nearing a return. Liverpool has a history of success against LASK, having defeated them twice in the Europa League three years ago.
