Liverpool Secures £123m Deal for PSG Forward Bradley Barcola
Liverpool has reached an agreement with Paris St-Germain for forward Bradley Barcola, valued at up to £123m. The deal includes an initial payment of £106m, with an additional £17m in potential add-ons.
The 23-year-old, who joined PSG from Lyon for £38.5m in 2023, is expected to undergo a medical this weekend before signing a long-term contract with the club. Barcola's arrival raises questions about the future of Cody Gakpo at Liverpool, as both Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City have expressed interest in the Netherlands forward.
Barcola, who has scored three goals for France in the recent World Cup, has been a key target for Liverpool following the departures of Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah. The transfer marks a significant financial gain for PSG, who will more than triple their investment in Barcola if all add-ons are met.
