Liverpool Signs Teen Winger Djylian N'Guessan from Saint-Etienne

Liverpool has announced the signing of 18-year-old winger Djylian N'Guessan from Saint-Etienne. The confirmation of the deal was made on Friday, with N'Guessan set to officially join the club in January.

During his time at Saint-Etienne, N'Guessan made 13 senior appearances and will spend the 2026-27 season on loan at Ligue 1 club Brest. Brest is scheduled to face Le Havre on Saturday, but N'Guessan may debut in a more prominent match against Paris Saint-Germain the following week.

N'Guessan has also represented France at the youth level, making seven appearances at the Under-20 World Cup last year and scoring four goals at the 2025 Under-17 European Championship, where he was named to the Team of the Tournament after France finished as runners-up to Portugal.
