Liz Carmouche Shaves Head to Make Weight for PFL Title Fight
Liz Carmouche prepared for her PFL flyweight world title fight against Jena Bishop in Chicago by shaving her head to make weight on Friday.
While Bishop weighed in just under the 125lb limit, Carmouche, at 42 years old, opted for a quick haircut using electric clippers to ensure she met the weight requirement. Despite the last-minute decision, she appeared cheerful during the weigh-in, showcasing her new look.
This matchup is a rematch of their previous encounter in 2025, where Carmouche won by knockout in the third round. Since joining PFL in 2024, Carmouche has achieved six victories and one loss, while Bishop has faced challenges with three losses in eight fights. Carmouche aims for her 27th career win and has plans to fight Dakota Ditcheva next, pending Ditcheva's recovery from surgery.
