
Lone Star Le Mans Set to Resume World Endurance Championship in Texas
The World Endurance Championship will continue in Texas from September 4-6, featuring the Lone Star Le Mans, a significant event in the racing calendar. This race will showcase a competitive battle in the Hypercar class, particularly among Toyota, BMW, and Ferrari, while TF Sport's Corvette leads the LMGT3 class.
The Circuit of The Americas will host the race, marking the start of the second half of the 2026 season. Cadillac, eager for redemption after a previous setback, will field local driver Ricky Taylor in the #12 Cadillac V-Series.R. Meanwhile, Genesis Magma Racing is set to conduct further tests following the race.
Track activities will commence on Friday with two 90-minute practice sessions, followed by a final practice and qualifying on Saturday. The race will begin at lunchtime on Sunday and last for six hours.
