Louis Rees-Zammit Shines in Early Season for Bristol Bears
Wales winger Louis Rees-Zammit has made a strong start to the season, scoring four tries in Bristol Bears' first two Premiership matches, as noted by Bristol's director of rugby Pat Lam.
Rees-Zammit's performance against Northampton included five line breaks and a significant 50:22 kick, although he narrowly missed a hat-trick due to a penalty try awarded for a deliberate knock-on by a teammate. Lam highlighted Rees-Zammit's mental state and enjoyment of the game, attributing his success to additional training with the defence coach on tackle techniques.
Now in his second season with Bristol, Rees-Zammit has returned to his wing position after a stint at full-back. Lam remarked on the player's improved integration into the team and expressed confidence that Rees-Zammit will play a significant role for Wales in the upcoming year, following his recent benching during a Nations Championship match.
