Ludek Miklosko, Former West Ham Goalkeeper, Passes Away at 64

Ludek Miklosko, a former goalkeeper for West Ham United and the Czech Republic, has passed away at the age of 64.

He made nearly 400 appearances for West Ham from 1990 to 1998 and was cherished by fans, who continued to chant his name long after his departure from the club. Miklosko had withdrawn from cancer treatment in December 2024, three years after his diagnosis.

Just days before his death, he received a warm welcome at West Ham's London Stadium during a Premier League match against Liverpool. The club expressed their sorrow in a statement, honoring him as a beloved and inspirational figure.
