Reports indicated that Infantino would assume the role of CEO of this new subsidiary, with a salary comparable to that of NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

Figo expressed his discontent in a letter, emphasizing the need for change at FIFA and criticizing Infantino's actions as damaging to the sport's reputation.
