Luka Doncic Spends Half a Million on Private Jet for Lakers Teammates' Slovenia Trip
Luka Doncic organized a lavish trip for his Los Angeles Lakers teammates to Slovenia, coinciding with his minicamp in his home country. He reportedly spent at least $18,000 per hour for a Bombardier Global 8000 jet, totaling around half a million dollars for the 13-hour flight.
The private jet featured a lounge area, individual bedrooms with beds, couches, recliners, and TVs for the comfort of the 14 players on board. Upon arrival, fans gathered outside the hotel to welcome the team, with players like Austin Reaves, Walker Kessler, and Bronny James seen checking in.
Doncic's minicamp aims to foster team bonding, with activities planned including workouts, pick-up games, golfing, and exploring Slovenia. The Lakers have made significant roster changes, re-signing Reaves and acquiring Kessler, along with other players to support Doncic as the team's focal point.
