M. Siddharth played a pivotal role in Vida Kovai Kings' recent TNPL title victory, finishing as the tournament's second-highest wicket-taker with 16 wickets and achieving the best economy rate of 5.08.

His performance included ten wickets taken during the PowerPlay, which he views as a significant challenge rather than just a tactical responsibility. Siddharth noted that he aims to outperform fast bowlers in this phase, emphasizing the importance of making an impact for his team.

Despite participating in only four matches during IPL 2026, he credited the confidence and skills he gained from that experience as instrumental in his TNPL success. Working with Lucknow Super Giants' spin-bowling coach Carl Crowe, Siddharth focused on refining his techniques and developing new variations, including the bouncer, which he found effective after observing fellow player Krunal Pandya.
