Mack Hollins' 2026 Incentives Revised by Patriots

The New England Patriots have revised the contract incentives for receiver Mack Hollins, making it more challenging for him to increase his earnings for the 2026 season. This adjustment was finalized on September 1 and involves converting some potential payments into not-likely-to-be-earned incentives.

Under the new terms, Hollins must now catch 47, 50, and 55 passes to earn $300,000, $300,000, and $400,000, respectively. Previously, he was set to receive these amounts for catching 30, 40, and 50 passes. Last season, Hollins caught 46 passes, which allowed him to earn $600,000, making part of his 2026 incentives likely to be earned.

Despite speculation about his potential release, the Patriots declined trade offers for Hollins from at least one contending team. The injury to A.J. Brown may provide Hollins with additional opportunities to reach his new reception targets. In Week 1, he recorded four catches, projecting to 68 for the season, which would secure him the full $1 million in incentives.
