Mackenzie Dern, the UFC Women’s Strawweight Champion, disagreed with Garry's perspective at the UFC 330 media day, citing her traditional upbringing.

Dern explained that while she values the strength and independence of women, she prefers men to take the lead and protect. She emphasized her belief in strong women who do not rely on men, but also expressed her comfort in traditional gender roles.

At UFC 330, Dern is scheduled to defend her title against Gillian Robertson, who is currently ranked #5 in the division. Dern is favored to win, with betting odds placing her at -220 against Robertson's +180.
