Macs Page Replaces Injured Rio Dyer in Wales Squad

Wales has announced the release of Dragons wing Rio Dyer from their Nations Championship squad following a hamstring injury. Scarlets wing Macs Page has been called up to replace him for the upcoming matches in November.

Dyer, who had been performing well this season, sustained the injury while scoring against Ospreys last weekend. The 26-year-old will now focus on rehabilitation with his club, Rodney Parade.

Page, who has yet to earn a cap for Wales, was also dealing with a head injury sustained during a match against Stormers. Despite this, he is expected to undergo return-to-play protocols and aims for his first international appearance. Wales is set to face Japan on November 7, followed by matches against New Zealand and Australia.
