MAGURA Introduces Race Pro Brake: A New High-Performance Option

The MAGURA Race Pro brake has been launched as a high-performance alternative to the MT7, known for its four-piston design favored by downhill and enduro riders. This new model features a CNC-machined aluminium construction, promising improved durability and a premium aesthetic.

Weighing in at 310 g with a 1 m hose, the Race Pro is designed for various biking disciplines, including enduro and cross-country. Priced at €699.80, it aims to deliver superior braking power with minimal hand effort, utilizing a revised hydraulic system and larger pistons for enhanced performance.

The Race Pro maintains a one-piece caliper design to reduce weight and improve stiffness. It also introduces an Easy-Link system for easier hose connection and maintenance. Initial testing on the trails indicates that the Race Pro offers excellent modulation and consistent braking performance, even under heavy use.
