Malaki Branham Signs Exhibit 10 Deal with Orlando Magic
The Orlando Magic have finalized an agreement with Malaki Branham, as confirmed by his agent Deirunas Visockas. This deal is classified as an Exhibit 10 agreement, which suggests that Branham will participate in training camp with the opportunity to secure a position on the team.
Branham, a 23-year-old combo guard, was previously with the San Antonio Spurs for three seasons after being drafted 20th overall in 2022. He was traded to Washington last summer and later to Charlotte, where he was waived shortly after. He concluded the last season with the Cleveland Charge in the G League.
Throughout his NBA career, Branham has played 216 games, averaging 8.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game. He has a shooting percentage of 44.1% from the field and 33.9% from beyond the arc. Currently, the Magic have 14 players under standard contracts, and Branham is not eligible for a two-way contract due to his four years of NBA experience.
