Malik Nabers Discusses Targeting Strategy After Productive Game
Malik Nabers, a wide receiver for the Giants, had a standout performance in last Sunday's victory over the Cardinals, recording six receptions for 112 yards and a touchdown. However, he expressed on Wednesday that he views this game as a basic outing rather than a significant breakthrough as he continues to recover from a torn ACL sustained last season.
After the game, Nabers communicated with head coach John Harbaugh about his desire to receive more targets, particularly in the second half, where he only had one catch. He noted that he felt his contributions could help the team score more effectively, especially after a strong first half.
Nabers did not participate in practice on Wednesday due to increased soreness in his knee. He mentioned that his availability for the upcoming game against the Commanders is uncertain and will depend on how he feels as the week progresses.
