Malik Willis Responds to Jordan Battle's Interceptions
During a recent game, Bengals safety Jordan Battle intercepted Dolphins quarterback Malik Willis twice, following his pre-game claim that he had identified a tendency in Willis's throwing style.
Battle noted that he would time his breaks based on Willis's habit of patting the ball before throwing. After the game, Willis expressed surprise at Battle's comments and was unaware that Battle had made both interceptions, mistakenly attributing one to linebacker Demetrius Knight.
Willis contested the idea that his interceptions were due to a tell, explaining that one interception occurred after his hand was hit during the throw, while the other resulted from a scramble under pressure. He dismissed the notion of a tell, stating that many quarterbacks have similar habits.
