Mamadou Sangare Discusses Choosing Brentford Over Elite Clubs

Mamadou Sangare, a midfielder for Brentford, shared insights on his decision to join the club over several top European teams. He believes Brentford has the potential to finish in the top four this season, despite not participating in European competitions.

Previously with RC Lens, where he played a crucial role in their success, Sangare received interest from elite clubs but prioritized his development over immediate opportunities for Champions League football. He appreciated Brentford's thorough approach in presenting their vision and how they could help him grow as a player.

Although he started on the bench in recent matches, Sangare has demonstrated his value with impressive statistics, including leading the Premier League in tackles per 90 minutes. Brentford remains unbeaten this season, and Sangare is optimistic about their ambitions, stating that the team aims not just for Europe but also for a top-two finish.
