Manav Krishna Aims for KCL Debut with Thrissur Titans
Manav Krishna, an emerging cricketer from Kerala, is set to make his debut in the Kerala Cricket League (KCL) with the Thrissur Titans. He enters the tournament with confidence following a century scored against Sri Lanka in a youth Test match in July.
At just 18 years old, Manav has already played in the Ranji Trophy and represented India at the under-19 level. Despite being overlooked in the KCL's second season auction, he was later selected as a replacement, although a call-up for a National Cricket Academy camp delayed his debut.
Manav's recent performances, including a successful season in the Cooch Behar Trophy where he scored 590 runs, have solidified his reputation as a talented player. His transition from longer formats to T20 cricket is anticipated, and he credits his mentor, S.S. Shine, for his development in the sport.
