Manchester City Faces Brighton in EFL Cup Clash

Brighton seeks to secure a second consecutive victory over Manchester City in their EFL Cup last-16 match at the Etihad Stadium. The match is scheduled for 7:30 PM GMT on Wednesday, October 28.

Manchester City recently suffered a 2-1 defeat against Aston Villa, marking their second loss in four games across all competitions. Meanwhile, Brighton has struggled with two winless games, including a 0-0 draw against Jablonec and a 2-0 loss to Liverpool.

Despite their recent challenges, Brighton previously showcased their resilience by overcoming a 2-0 deficit to defeat Manchester United 3-2 in the third round of the EFL Cup. Historically, Brighton has had the upper hand in recent encounters, remaining unbeaten against City in their last four meetings.
