Manchester City Faces Liverpool at Anfield Following Guilty Verdict
Manchester City is set to face Liverpool at Anfield in their first match following a guilty verdict related to financial misconduct charges.
Before the international break, Manchester City achieved a 5-3 victory over Sunderland, maintaining their perfect start to the season. Liverpool, meanwhile, remains unbeaten but has only secured two wins in their first five matches, with three draws.
Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola has made three changes to the lineup, with Dominik Szoboszlai, Cody Gakpo, and Alexander Isak sidelined due to injuries. Szoboszlai is reported to have a hamstring issue. Ryan Gravenberch, Victor Munoz, and Lewis Koumas will start in their place. For Manchester City, Nico O’Reilly replaces Josko Gvardiol, who will begin the match on the bench, while Antoine Semenyo is fit to play despite leaving the Ghana squad during the international break.
