Manchester City Hosts AEK Athens in Champions League Clash

Manchester City is set to host AEK Athens in a Champions League match at the Etihad Stadium. The game will kick off at 8pm BST on Tuesday, October 20.

City aims to recover from their recent loss to Paris Saint-Germain and improve their standing in the tournament. They recently secured a 3-2 victory over Ipswich Town, marking their seventh consecutive win in the Premier League. However, the team faces challenges with injuries, including Antoine Semenyo, who will be sidelined for eight weeks.

AEK Athens returns to the Champions League for the first time since the 2018-19 season, having had a mixed start with a win against LASK and a loss to Shakhtar Donetsk. Domestically, AEK has performed well, conceding only three goals in five league matches. Historically, they have struggled in away Champions League games, with no wins and a poor record against English teams.
