Manchester City in Advanced Talks to Sign Iliman Ndiaye from Everton
Manchester City is currently in advanced negotiations with Everton to secure the signing of winger Iliman Ndiaye for a total of £65 million. This move comes after City had an £80 million bid for Liverpool's Cody Gakpo turned down earlier in the week.
The proposed deal with Everton consists of a £60 million guaranteed payment along with an additional £5 million in bonuses. Discussions between City and Everton have progressed quickly, partly due to previous contacts regarding Jack Grealish.
Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur, who had been in talks to acquire Ndiaye, are now exploring other options, including discussions with Chelsea for a loan deal involving Mykhailo Mudryk. Liverpool's rejection of City's bid for Gakpo has raised concerns about finding a suitable replacement for the Dutch player.
