Manchester City Interested in Cody Gakpo Amid Tottenham Pursuit

As of now, there have been no official discussions between Manchester City and Liverpool regarding Gakpo, who has a contract with Liverpool that runs until 2030. Liverpool has expressed a strong desire to retain Gakpo and would likely need to acquire two new wide forwards before contemplating his departure.

Gakpo recently scored in Liverpool's Premier League opener against Newcastle. Meanwhile, City has reached a verbal agreement with Palmeiras to sign Allan for £34 million as a replacement for Savinho, who is set to join Tottenham for up to £85 million.
