Manchester City Negotiates with Lille for Ayyoub Bouaddi Amidst Inactive Rodri Talks
Manchester City is currently engaged in negotiations with Lille for the transfer of Moroccan midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi. Personal terms have already been established with the 18-year-old as both clubs work towards reaching an agreement.
City has deemed discussions with Barcelona regarding Rodri as inactive, following what they considered a low initial offer of around £40 million. Rodri is expected to return to City after his post-World Cup break, with one year remaining on his contract, and the club hopes he will extend his stay.
In addition to Bouaddi, City is exploring options for other midfielders, including Chelsea's Enzo Fernandez, who is valued at £120 million. Meanwhile, City is aware of interest from Nottingham Forest in Tijjani Reijnders, and Mateo Kovacic is anticipated to remain at the club for the final year of his contract.
