Manchester City achieved a 3-1 victory against Atletico Madrid in Seoul, marking their final pre-season match before facing Arsenal in the Community Shield. The match saw City come from behind after Jorge Dominguez scored for Atletico just before halftime.

City controlled much of the first half but fell behind when Dominguez capitalized on a corner. After the break, Omar Marmoush equalized for City, assisted by Antoine Semenyo, who made a crucial play to keep the ball in play. Marmoush then scored again shortly after to give City the lead.
