Manchester United and Tottenham Clash Amidst Struggling Seasons

Manchester United will host Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Saturday, with both teams experiencing disappointing starts to the season.

Tottenham invested heavily in the summer transfer window, spending £334 million, while Manchester United's expenditure was £163 million. Despite this, Spurs currently sit at the bottom of the league without a win, while United is also under pressure following their own poor performance.

Critics are questioning the effectiveness of Tottenham's signings, with former manager Tim Sherwood noting that none of the new recruits have stood out. Meanwhile, United's strategy of focusing on squad depth rather than marquee signings is also under scrutiny as they seek to improve their performance.
