Manchester United Hosts Tottenham Amid Pressure in Premier League Clash

Manchester United is set to host Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford this evening in a Premier League match that sees both teams under significant pressure following challenging starts to the season.

Manchester United has managed only five points from their first five matches, marking their worst start in a top-flight season. They have secured just one league victory and are without a win in their last three games, putting manager Michael Carrick in a difficult position after a busy transfer window.

Tottenham, on the other hand, is at the bottom of the Premier League table with just two points from five matches and is still in search of their first league win. They recently suffered a 3-2 defeat to Aston Villa and have struggled offensively, failing to score in four of their five league games. Despite their current form, Tottenham has a favorable record against United, having lost only one of their last nine encounters.
