Manchester United Nears Agreement to Sign Carlos Baleba from Brighton
Manchester United is on the verge of reaching a full agreement with Brighton for the transfer of midfielder Carlos Baleba. The deal is anticipated to be worth over £60 million, with a five-year contract prepared for the player.
Baleba, who is 22 years old, is reportedly getting ready to travel to Manchester for a medical examination as soon as the transfer is officially confirmed. Although the final fee and structure are still being negotiated, the club is eager to finalize the arrangement.
The midfielder joined Brighton from Lille in 2023 and has made 112 appearances for the club, including 35 last season. He is currently recovering from an ankle ligament injury but is not expected to be sidelined for long. Baleba is among Manchester United's top targets this summer, following the signings of Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans.
