Mansur Abdul-Malik Reflects on First Professional Loss
Mansur Abdul-Malik recently addressed his first professional loss, which occurred during a third-round stoppage against Yousri Belgaroui at UFC Seattle earlier this year. This defeat ended his unbeaten streak in the middleweight division.
During a media day for UFC 330, Abdul-Malik shared that he initially felt compelled to make significant changes after the loss. However, upon reflection, he realized that his lifestyle outside the gym was already disciplined, with no partying or drinking habits to alter. He expressed a desire to return to the aggressive fighting style that had previously defined his career.
Abdul-Malik is set to face Dustin Stoltzfus on the UFC 330 main card at Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia. He currently holds a record of 3-1-1 in the Octagon, with all three of his professional victories coming by knockout.
