Marc Marquez Discusses Championship Pressure Ahead of Silverstone Race
Marc Marquez has stated that he does not feel additional pressure as he competes for the MotoGP title this year, despite being viewed as a strong contender. He emphasized that winning another championship would not significantly alter his life.
After overcoming physical challenges and missing two races earlier in the season due to surgery, Marquez has made a remarkable comeback on the factory Ducati, winning three of the last four races. This performance has propelled him to third place in the standings, now only 18 points behind leader Jorge Martin.
Marquez noted that several of his competitors, including Marco Bezzecchi, Ai Ogura, and Fabio di Giannantonio, are vying for their first MotoGP title, which adds intensity to the championship race. He acknowledged that while he has already achieved significant success, his rivals have more to gain, which could lead them to push harder in the remaining races.
