Marc Marquez Faces Early Challenge at Aragon GP Due to Mistake

Marc Marquez encountered a significant challenge at the start of the Aragon Grand Prix, where he initially dropped from first to third place due to a mistake with his bike's rear ride-height device.

After a strong launch from second on the grid, Marquez passed Marco Bezzecchi into Turn 1. However, he struggled at Turn 2 when the rear of his bike bottomed out, allowing Bezzecchi and Jorge Martin to overtake him. Despite this setback, Marquez managed to regain his position and fend off a mid-race challenge from Pedro Acosta, ultimately securing his fourth victory of the season.

Marquez acknowledged that his error made the race more difficult, noting that he forgot to deactivate the rear device before the start. His win at Aragon has positioned him second in the championship standings, just 19 points behind Martin, following a challenging weekend at Silverstone. Marquez emphasized the importance of capitalizing on his performance at tracks where he excels.
