Marc Marquez Leads Practice at Malaysian GP as Jorge Martin Withdraws
Marc Marquez secured the fastest time during Friday's practice session at the Malaysian Grand Prix, while Jorge Martin had to withdraw early due to an injury.
Marquez, riding for Factory Ducati, experienced a fall but quickly returned to the track, posting a time of 1m57s. Meanwhile, Martin, who is dealing with a broken wrist, curtailed his running and will need to navigate Q1 if he competes on Saturday.
The session saw Fabio Di Giannantonio initially leading the timesheets before Marquez took over. Other notable performances included Alex Marquez finishing second and Ai Ogura in third, while several riders faced challenges due to track conditions, including crashes that led to yellow flags.
